Last year when i visited, i flew into Valencia and then took the metro directly out of the airport to the main train station. I then had to wait 90 mins for a train which was perfect for getting some lunch. The train took just over an hour to Oropesa del Mar and from there a short taxi ride (5 mins) to my apartment. Was a very economical and pleasant journey.
